Bacino mine, Rio Marina, Isola Elba, Livorno, Italy - A very nice specimen with 3 large terminated hematite crystals ! The crystal sizes are between 2 and 2.5 cm wide ! Super metallic luster and brightness ! There also other hematites around 1-1.3 cm ! the whole matrix is hematite. Minimal chipping as typical for this material produced working on hematite ore. Overall size is 4.5x4x3 cm.
